Full-time fixed-term contract, potentially leading to a permanent contract.
Assignments
- Maintaining and repairing all the locks and joinery in the park.
- Install, adjust and repair windows.
- Make, improve, repair and install fences.
- Make, improve, repair and install small pieces of furniture.
- Create and renovate various items of joinery associated with the park's construction sites.
- Take part in the installation of cladding, framework and roofing on buildings.
- Define the stages of a project, choose the right types of wood and draw up diagrams.
- Cutting, assembling and sanding the various parts needed to complete a project.
- Install and finish the components.
- Apply coatings (varnish, lacquer, paint, etc.).
- Insulate, soundproof and waterproof a project according to requirements and the installation site.
Skills required
- Hold a CAP/ BEP/BAC PRO qualification in locksmithing/carpentry.
- Have a general knowledge of the risks involved in using woodworking machinery (saw, router, chainsaw, etc.).
- Be able to read design plans and produce them.
- Know how to create or repair bridges.
- Know how to define the different species or types of materials according to their use.
- Know how to carry out the various jobs in accordance with the rules of the trade (produce aesthetic, high-quality work).
- Be familiar with safety standards.
- Be able to work alone as well as in a team.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Demonstrate rigour, precision, attention to detail and creativity.
Experience
Initial experience in joinery is desirable.
